Anniversary D-day Calculator
Last updated: 2026-06-25
An anniversary D-day is the difference in days between today and a target date: future shows as D-minus, today as D-day, and past as D-plus.
Enter a target date and see its D-day along with milestone dates from that date such as 100 days, 200 days, and 1 year, each with its own D-day.

The D-day is calculated by the difference in days excluding time. Year milestones use the same calendar month and day and may differ by a day in leap years. Results are for reference.
How to use
- Pick the target date — Choose the reference date (an anniversary or start date) from the calendar.
- Calculate — Press Calculate to show the D-day (days remaining or passed) as of today.
- Check the list — Review milestone dates from the target date such as 100 days, 200 days, and 1 year, each with its own D-day.
How the D-day is calculated and shown
A D-day shows how many days away a target date is, either ahead of or behind today. It is used for things like exams, trips, and anniversaries, and is commonly written as "D-30 (30 days left)", "D-day (today)", or "D+10 (10 days passed)".
| Situation | Notation | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Target is in the future | D-number | Days remaining until it (e.g. D-30 = 30 days left) |
| Target is today | D-day | Today itself |
| Target is in the past | D+number | Days passed since it (e.g. D+10 = 10 days passed) |
This calculator shows not only the target date's D-day but also, using that date as a starting point, the dates and D-days for 100, 200, 300, and 1000 days plus the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd anniversaries in a single list. Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How is the D-day shown?
A future date shows as D-minus a number (for example 30 days away is D-30), today is D-day, and a past date shows as D-plus a number (for example 10 days ago is D+10). Only the date is used; time of day is ignored.
What happens if I enter a past date?
If you enter a past date, it shows how many days have passed since then as D-plus a number. It also uses that date as a starting point to calculate upcoming milestones such as 100 days and 1 year, with their dates and D-days, in a table.
How is the 1 year date determined?
This calculator treats the same calendar month and day as the target date (for example March 5, 2025 → March 5, 2026) as the 1 year mark. It can differ by a day from the 365th day counted in days due to leap years, so use it as a reference.
Can I save or share the result?
Press the Copy result button to copy the D-day and milestone list as text you can paste into notes or a messenger. The dates you enter are never sent to or stored on a server; everything runs in your browser.
